Based in the Portland Works, Sheffield where over 100 years ago Harry Brearley developed stainless steel for cutlery use, Michael May uses centuries old craftsmanship and knife patterns to create traditional pocket knives. The Michael May Barlow Oak is a superbly crafted folder in the traditional Barlow style. The blade is made from O1 carbon steel with a thumb nick for opening. The impressive handle is made from locally sourced Yorkshire Oak wood scales with a brass bolster.
The blade is non-locking and under three inches long so is legal to carry within the UK.
